Re: Does Xailer support console applications?

Ok, I got the thing built. But it doesn't work as expected. You can debug through the code, but when you run it on a windows command line, it doesn't show anything.

If there are some particular settings that need to be populated, please let me know, thanks.

Does Xailer support console applications?

Hi, My original question was whether we can take some console environment code, that doesn't have any third party references, and debug it in the Xailer IDE. It looks like the answer is yes, but it's not clear how to call a console function. So for example to test the debugger, Procedure Main() Appl...

Re: Why don't the string or number comparisons work?

If the LogDebug() statements are thrown in, then they are executed. But the statement s_BreakPointString := s_BreakPointString is never reached. It's just skipped over. It looks like Harbour is just ignoring trivial statements that assign variables to themselves. Anyway, I seem to have the main prog...

Why don't the string or number comparisons work?

Hi, In the code below, the problem is that the string and number conversions don't work. Below, we assign 5 to n_Number; and "test" to s_String. But when we run it, the condition is never executed. I tried setting the 's_BreakPointString := s_BreakPointString' lines as breakpoints, and it ...

Cloning and renaming projects

Hi,

What's the recommended way to clone a project, rename it, and remove one or two components? Should I just copy the whole project to another folder, open it in the new folder, and start renaming and removing within the IDE?

My previous post, seems to be missing from the forum

Hi, I had a question about passing data from one main form to secondary forms, maybe a month or so ago. But it seems to be removed. I would post the question on the Pro forum, but my ID and password have never worked there. Xailer support tried to set me up with a Pro password a few years ago, but i...

Re: How to install Xailer on a usb drive

Ok, thanks Ignacio.

I've forwarded you the emails from Xailer, which contain the serial numbers. I can't tell which one, is the regular desktop license, and which is for the Flash Drive.

Re: How to install Xailer on a usb drive

Well, I went ahead and tried to install it on a flash drive. I copied a licensed desktop version to the flash drive, then brought the flash drive to another PC without a license. I ran Xailer on the flash drive there, and activated it on that flash drive. Then I brought the flash drive to another PC...

How to install Xailer on a usb drive

Hi, How do you install Xailer Pro on a flash drive? I have both a desktop and a portable license. Do you just 1) Install it on a desktop first, and then 2) Copy the Xailer 4 application folders to the Flash Drive, then 3) Run Xailer from the flash drive on a different PC, and register it with the sa...

Nope, it's the Professional version, as far as I know.
That's the answer, understood. Ok, I'll locate some third party DLLs, and make use of those, thanks.

Is this the correct Sqlite syntax?

Nope, no luck on the DLL front.
Hate to say it, but I went ahead and tried some of the MiniGui Sqlite routines, and they do return some rows.
Maybe this requires a re-install of Xailer, from scratch.

Sorry, I screwed up the sample that was sent. The Customer table reference, from was a database Chinook_Sqlite.sqlite, that was too large to send. Is this the correct Sqlite syntax?

Hi, Which versions of Sqlite are supported, by Xailer's internal interface? None of the following syntax is retrieving any records. The connection appears to be valid, but none of the data arrays get populated. If I run the same queries in some of the third-party sqlite maintenance utilities, the qu...

You mean, you weren't able to set the property with either the Harbour or the MiniGui module? Ok, let me know if I can help. This is one of the Activex components which presents some problems for Xailer, and might be related to setting properties which expect an IDISPATCH object.

Sorry, I mean I'm not able to write any messages to the Pro group; it
continues to ask for a password; perhaps the id & password that I have,
are not valid for the Pro group. Am able to log in and read existing
